Purpose:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled nurse to join our team as a First Aid Clinic Nurse. The First Aid Clinic Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care and emergency assistance to individuals requiring first aid.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks
Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting with injuries, illnesses, or medical emergencies. Prioritize care based on the severity of the condition and provide appropriate triage and intervention.
Administer first aid treatments and emergency interventions as needed, including wound care, bandaging, CPR, and defibrillation. Maintain composure and efficiency during high-stress situations to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide education on medication use and potential side effects.
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR) or other documentation systems. Communicate relevant information to healthcare providers and maintain confidentiality of patient data.
Provide health education and preventive care services to promote wellness and injury prevention among patients and staff. Offer guidance on proper first aid techniques, safety practices, and strategies for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, paramedics, and administrative staff, to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between healthcare settings. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to address concerns and provide updates on treatment plans.
Perform any additional duties assigned by the line manager to meet operational requirements, reflecting major accountabilities but not all tasks.
Ensure the highest standards are followed to safeguard the sensitive and confidential data of the organization.
Minimum Required Qualifications, Certificates & Skills
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Qatar.
Previous experience in emergencies or urgent care settings preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience post-graduation.
Current certification in Cardiovascular Resuscitation (Life Support).
