Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Night Auditor, Receptionist role based in Doha, Qatar. The role involves managing late-night front desk operations, including guest check-in and check-out, room assignments, and responding to guest inquiries and requests. The Night Auditor, Receptionist will reconcile daily financial transactions, prepare end-of-day reports, and ensure accuracy in billing and payment processing. Additional responsibilities include handling reservations, maintaining accurate guest records, monitoring lobby and public areas for safety and cleanliness, and coordinating with other hotel departments to support seamless overnight operations. The role also requires maintaining high standards of guest service, following hotel policies, and addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and front office skills, including guest relations, problem-solving, and professional communication.
- Basic accounting and audit skills, such as balancing cash registers, reconciling daily revenue, and preparing financial summaries.
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems and standard office software, along with accurate data entry and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to work night shifts, manage multiple tasks under pressure, and maintain attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or night audit roles is preferred; experience in a luxury or five-star environment is an advantage.
- Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages commonly used by guests in Qatar are highly beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality-related education or certifications are a plus.
- Professional appearance, courteous demeanor, and commitment to delivering a high-quality guest experience in line with the hotel’s standards.
