The Network Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient network infrastructure. This role involves configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and managing scheduled upgrades. You will ensure network reliability, optimize performance, maintain documentation, and support VOIP systems while collaborating with internal teams and subcontractors to deliver robust network solutions.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware, and security.
- Hands‑on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, VPN, QoS, and wireless access points.
- Proven ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN systems.
- amiliarity with application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
- Experience creating accurate network diagrams and maintaining documentation.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in team environments.
- Network security expertise is highly desirable.
