We are seeking experienced SOC/NOC Engineers (L1–L3) to provide monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and operational support for enterprise infrastructure and security environments. The role involves monitoring network, systems, and security events using OpenText NMS and Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, responding to incidents based on established playbooks, and ensuring service availability, performance, and security compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Network Operations Center (NOC)
- Monitor network, infrastructure, servers, and critical services using OpenText NMS.
- Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure-related incidents.
- Perform proactive monitoring and health checks to ensure system availability.
- Escalate critical incidents and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
- Monitor data center environments and connectivity across multiple locations.
- Track incidents and service requests through ticketing systems and ensure SLA compliance.
Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Monitor and analyze security events and alerts using Microsoft Sentinel SIEM.
- Investigate security incidents and perform initial triage, containment, and escalation.
- Execute incident response procedures and security playbooks.
- Analyze logs from servers, network devices, applications, cloud platforms, and security tools.
- Support threat detection, vulnerability management, and security monitoring activities.
- Maintain security incident documentation and reporting.
General Responsibilities
- Follow established operational procedures, runbooks, and playbooks.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors during incident resolution.
- Generate operational, security, and compliance reports.
- Support shift operations, including 24×7 monitoring where applicable.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–8 years of experience in SOC, NOC, or IT Operations environments.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel SIEM.
- Experience with Network Monitoring Systems (NMS) such as OpenText, SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of:
- Network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Windows and Linux environments
- Security monitoring and incident management
- Log analysis and event correlation
- Experience working with security incidents, alerts, and escalation procedures.
- Familiarity with cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint security, and threat monitoring.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
Experience working within SLA-driven managed services environments.
