We’re looking for a qualified Network Infrastructure Presales Engineer to join our Network Infrastructure team.
This role is responsible for providing technical leadership throughout the sales lifecycle by designing, positioning, and presenting end-to-end network infrastructure solutions that align with customer business and technical requirements. The role works closely with customers, sales teams, vendors, and delivery teams to develop competitive, compliant, and cost-effective solutions for enterprise and government customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with customers to understand business objectives, technical requirements, and operational challenges.
• Conduct technical discovery workshops and solution assessment sessions.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and executive briefings.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-availability network infrastructure solutions.
• Prepare High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), Bill of Materials (BOM), implementation methodologies, and solution documentation.
• Develop network architectures covering campus networks, data center networks, SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, wireless networks, network security, fiber optic infrastructure, structured cabling, and network monitoring.
• Analyze RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs and prepare compliance matrices, technical responses, and proposal documents.
• Coordinate with vendors and distributors for technical validation, sizing, pricing, and solution recommendations.
• Participate in bid strategy, solution optimization, and technical risk identification.
• Support account managers during customer meetings, technical discussions, and proposal preparation.
• Participate in customer presentations and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• Support negotiations by explaining technical differentiators and solution value.
• Review implementation feasibility with delivery teams and ensure solution compliance with customer specifications.
• Maintain reusable solution templates, technical documentation, and best-practice libraries.
• Evaluate emerging networking technologies and recommend new products and services to enhance the company’s portfolio.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in network infrastructure, with at least 3 years in a presales role.
• Experience supporting enterprise and government customers.
• Strong understanding of large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical knowledge in enterprise LAN/WAN, routing and switching, SD-WAN, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, IPv4, and IPv6.
• Experience with wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi 6 / 6E / 7, wireless site surveys, RF planning, and WLAN controllers.
• Good understanding of data center networking, including spine-leaf architecture, data center switching, network virtualization, and load balancing.
• Knowledge of network security solutions, including next-generation firewalls, NAC, VPN, Zero Trust, micro-segmentation, and network access control.
• Experience with fiber optic infrastructure, GPON, ODF, fiber closures, structured cabling, and TIA standards.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, Aruba Central, Huawei iMaster NCE, SNMP, and NetFlow.
• Knowledge of cloud connectivity, including Azure Networking, AWS Networking, hybrid cloud connectivity, ExpressRoute, and Direct Connect.
• Experience with vendors such as Cisco, Huawei, HPE Aruba, Nokia, Juniper, Fortinet, Dell, Ciena, or similar technologies.
