Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team for a large-scale enterprise infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments with a primary focus on Juniper networking technologies.
This role requires a proactive professional who can ensure high network availability, security, and performance while working closely with cross-functional technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and support Juniper routers, switches, and security devices.
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity and performance issues.
- Troubleshoot network incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Configure and manage routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, ACLs, QoS, and network security best practices.
- Perform network upgrades, firmware updates, and infrastructure migrations.
- Ensure high availability and redundancy of critical network services.
- Prepare and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity teams, and external vendors.
- Participate in planned maintenance activities and provide support during critical incidents when required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Juniper Certification is Mandatory (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, or higher).
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise network infrastructure.
- Strong experience with Juniper routing and switching technologies.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, STP, and network security.
- Experience with firewall technologies and network monitoring tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional networking certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP are an advantage.
- Experience working in large enterprise or mission-critical environments.
- Knowledge of network automation and scripting is a plus.
- Familiarity with virtualization and cloud networking technologies is desirable.
