Network and System Engineer Jobs in Dubai at INFRA ASSURE
ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a skilled and versatile Network and System Engineer to support IT infrastructure operations. This is a hands-on, all-rounder role covering Windows Server environments, Active Directory, networking, Microsoft Exchange, virtualization, and endpoint security. Alongside technical operations and resolving tickets for our banking clients, you will leverage your background in the UAE IT channel to assist with business development and vendor relations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- System Administration: Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy across the client’s infrastructure.
- Exchange Management: Manage and support Microsoft Exchange 2016 on-premises (mailbox administration, mail flow troubleshooting, connectors, and high availability).
- Virtualization: Administer and maintain Hyper-V environments, including VM provisioning, snapshots, resource management, and remote desktop (RDP) troubleshooting.
- Infrastructure Monitoring: Monitor network infrastructure 24/7 using NOC tools (PRTG, SolarWinds, or similar), proactively identifying issues before they impact operations.
- Networking: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network devices (switches, routers, wireless access points) and perform VLAN configuration, routing, and switching.
- Security & Compliance: Administer endpoint security (e.g., CrowdStrike), manage firewalls and VPNs, conduct vulnerability assessments, apply patches, and enforce policies aligned with banking sector compliance.
- Business Development: Utilize prior experience in the UAE IT channel (e.g., Dubai Computer market) to assist with System Integrator’s operations, sales, and driving new business opportunities.
- Incident & Client Support: Provide timely technical support for infrastructure incidents, escalate where required, and collaborate with IT teams and client stakeholders for infrastructure upgrades.
- Documentation: Maintain up to date documentation of network diagrams, server configurations, Active Directory structures, and standard operating procedures.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or network engineering roles.
- Channel Experience: Background working for a System Integrator (SI) or in the local IT channel (Computer market experience is a strong advantage).
- Microsoft & Windows: Strong expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft Exchange 2016.
- Virtualization: Proficient in Hyper-V VM management, clustering concepts, and performance tuning.
- Networking & Security: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing/switching, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security platforms (preferably CrowdStrike Falcon).
- Monitoring Tools: Experience with NOC monitoring tools like PRTG or SolarWinds.
- Industry Background: Prior experience working in banking, financial services, or a similarly regulated environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently on-site at a client environment with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS
- MCSA / MCSE: Windows Server administration (strongly preferred)
- CCNA: Cisco Certified Network Associate (strongly preferred)
- CompTIA Security+ / CompTIA Network+
- CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Responder (CCFR)
- VMware / Hyper-V certifications
Pay: AED2,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
