Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Nanny/Childcare Assistant. In this role, you will play a key part in providing quality care and support to children in their homes or in our childcare facility. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, have a nurturing demeanor, and be committed to creating a safe and stimulating environment for young learners.
Responsibilities:
Supervising Children: Monitor children’s activities to ensure a safe and secure environment throughout the day.
Assisting with Daily Routines: Help with feeding, diaper changes, and nap times to ensure children’s well-being.
Supporting Educational Activities: Engage children in educational games, arts and crafts, and play-based learning to enhance their development.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure play areas, classrooms, and common spaces are clean and sanitary, including sanitizing toys and equipment regularly.
Encouraging Social Interaction: Promote positive interactions among children, encouraging cooperative play and respectful behavior.
Communicating with Parents: Provide daily updates to parents about their child’s progress, activities, and any concerns during drop-off and pick-up.
Supporting Special Needs: Assist in providing additional care or attention to children with special needs or developmental challenges.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off: Safely escort children to and from the designated areas, ensuring smooth transitions between buliding and the childcare center.
Following Safety Protocols: Adhere to health and safety regulations and emergency procedures consistently.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with children, preferably as a nanny, childcare assistant, or in a daycare setting.
A genuine passion for working with children and a nurturing demeanor.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children and parents.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
High school diploma or equivalent.

Regular working hours from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
