Follow established procedures for the safe handling, storage, and disposal of food products.
Assist in the inspection of ingredients and food items for freshness, quality, and expiration dates.
Monitor and communicate any deviations from recipe standards to ensure consistent quality.
Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
Communicate any issues, concerns, or suggestions to the senior kitchen staff in a timely manner.
Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Rotate food inventory to ensure proper utilization and minimize waste.
Communicate any concerns regarding food expiration or quality to the senior kitchen staff.
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation of dishes.
Assist in maintaining the restaurant’s food standards by consistently following recipe guidelines and portion control
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent education.
Previous experience in a kitchen environment or culinary training is preferred.
Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Strong work ethic and a passion for culinary excellence.
