Business Intelligence / SAS Developer:

Basic Scope of Job      

We are seeking a skilled SAS Developer with 4–6 years of experience to join our dynamic team in the telecom sector.

The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in SAS programming and will be responsible for both operational support and development tasks.

Experience with Greenplum databases, PL/SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau is highly desirable.

This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions to support business intelligence and decision-making processes.

 

Principal Duties And Responsibilities            

Ø SAS Development: Design, develop, and maintain SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Ø Development Tasks: Design and implement new SAS solutions to meet evolving business requirements, including the development of new data models and reporting tools.

Ø Operational Support: Monitor and maintain existing SAS processes, ensuring their smooth operation and timely resolution of any issues or failures.

Ø Data Analysis: Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for reporting and analysis.

Ø Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business stakeholders, and IT personnel, to gather requirements and deliver effective data solutions.

Ø Performance Tuning: Monitor and enhance the performance of SAS programs and PL/SQL queries to ensure efficient data processing.

Ø Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, workflows, and system configurations.

Ø Greenplum & PL/SQL (Preferred): Utilize PL/SQL for querying and managing data within Greenplum databases, ensuring efficient data handling and storage.

Ø Data Visualization (Preferred): Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau to facilitate data-driven decision-making

 

Position Requirement Education & Qualification    

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in SAS programming, including Base SAS, SAS Macros, and SAS SQL.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Telecom knowledge
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

 

Experience      

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in DWH Domain
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in SAS programming, including Base SAS, SAS Macros, and SAS SQL

 

Other Conditions / Requirements    

• Experience with Greenplum databases and PL/SQL development.

Senior Provisioning Support Engineer: Basic Scope of Job  

Assist to maintain Instalink Provisioning systems (Nokia), Mobile Number Portability Platform and Provisioning Tools to ensure the stable running operation and support configuration request to support Telecom operator business requirement.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities       

• Manage and support the Nokia Instalink Provisioning System for seamless service provisioning (voice, data, broadband).
• Monitor provisioning workflows, logs, and service activations to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot provisioning failures and escalate critical issues to vendors when required.
• Maintain integrations between Nokia Instalink and OSS/BSS platforms, ensuring smooth communication with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., CRM, billing systems, HSS, network elements).
• Test, validate, and implement new features, patches, and configurations.
• Investigate system alerts, errors, and failures to ensure seamless provisioning operations.
• Provide 24×7 support to internal customers for system and application-related issues.
• Perform system maintenance, backups, and upgrades to ensure platform availability.
• Configure, schedule, and monitor provisioning processes to meet SLAs/OLAs.
• Implement vendor-provided configuration changes and run acceptance tests for new solutions and services.
• Automate tasks and extract information by developing and implementing scripts.
• Perform regular reconciliations to ensure data integrity across provisioning systems.
• Analyze system performance, run traces, troubleshoot reported incidents, and resolve issues.
• Prepare and analyze reports, statistics, and trends for provisioning platforms.
• Support commercial teams with new requests, ideas, and marketing requirements.
• Facilitate project implementation across other divisions and departments.
• Continuously improve operational processes by studying system performance and recommending redesigns.

Qualification 

• Experience in telecom provisioning systems support.
• Experience working with Nokia solutions (e.g. Instalink, NetAct).
• Strong background in troubleshooting provisioning failures and workflow disruptions.
• Hands-on experience with Nokia Instalink Provisioning Systems.
• Strong understanding of telecom provisioning processes and protocols.
• Proficiency in SQL for query building and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of telecom technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G, IP networks, broadband systems).
• Experience with system integration and APIs.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Shell).
• Experience with monitoring and ticketing tools (e.g., Nagios, ServiceNow, Jira).
• Familiarity with GSM networking principles and protocols.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Good understanding of databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL).
• Familiarity with technologies like SOAP, Java, and CORBA.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

ETL Developer:

Job Description

Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and Greenplum and data modeling, with a solid understanding of metadata management, involves in both development and operational responsibilities, ensuring efficient data integration and workflow management as well as data modeling 

 

Responsibilities:

Development Tasks:

·        ETL Design & Implementation: Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

·        Parameter File Management: Utilize parameter files effectively to manage session and workflow variables, enhancing flexibility and control over ETL processes.

·        Connection Management: Configure and manage database connections within Informatica PowerCenter, ensuring secure and efficient data access.

·        BTEQ Script Integration: Incorporate BTEQ scripts into ETL workflows as needed, facilitating seamless data operations with Teradata systems.

·        Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize workflow performance by tuning session parameters, managing cache sizes, and optimizing mappings to enhance efficiency.

·        Dependency Management: Handle workflow dependencies using tools like Event-Wait and Event-Raise tasks, ensuring proper sequencing and execution of dependent workflows.

·        Wait Mechanisms: Implement wait mechanisms using commands like pmcmd Wait Workflow to manage workflow execution based on dependencies and conditions.
