Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman to create detailed technical drawings and plans for structural components of buildings and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop precise 2D and 3D structural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software.
Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings for construction projects.
Interpret architectural and structural designs, ensuring accuracy and clarity in detailing.
Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and site teams to confirm design requirements.
Update and revise drawings based on engineering modifications and project needs.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and international standards.
Maintain organized drawing records and documentation for future reference.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Drafting, or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
Strong understanding of structural detailing, materials, and construction techniques.
Ability to interpret engineering calculations, technical specifications, and project blueprints.
Excellent communication and coordination skills, with a keen eye for detail.
