Job Description
Functional Title: Visual Merchandiser
Areas of Impact: Visual Merchandising, Brand Storytelling, Customer Experience
Job Purpose
Conceptualizing and enhancing store visual merchandising to craft immersive and emotionally resonant in-store experiences, seamlessly aligning brand vision with customer expectations, igniting joy, wonder, and lasting connections.
Key Accountabilities:
Working on a seasonal concept and translating it on paper
Use a three-prong approach- Creating the WOW (big concept), Smaller concepts (new products/events),Daily VM
Create budgets
Executing the vision
Creating planograms and TNA
Creating SOP’s at macro level and then store levels and making sure they are followed
Constant touch and weekly meetings with HO.
Creating sophisticated table settings, apparel displays, exciting corners for gifting
Creating experiential settings.
Take the central SOP’s and break down by each region/store and SOP’s for daily maintenance.
Work closely with store managers and retail team in training and maintenance
Identifying retail VM champions and training them.
Archiving store wide VM assets and taking accountability.
Desired Qualities/Skills:
A degree in VM or exhibition design is a plus.
Passionate about design, display and spaces.
Quick thinker, problem solver and team player. Taking initiative and overall responsibility for the VM of the stores is key.
