As a Modern Trade Sales Representative, you will be responsible for overseeing sales and nurturing relationships with important retail partners. Your key duties will include implementing effective sales strategies, ensuring product availability, and driving revenue growth in the modern trade area. Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
Maintain and develop relationships with key modern trade accounts such as hypermarkets and supermarkets.
Negotiate contracts, promotions, and shelf space agreements to maximize product visibility and sales.
Ensure timely order placement, stock replenishment, and optimal inventory levels.
Sales & Business Development:
Achieve sales targets and objectives for assigned accounts.
Identify new business opportunities within modern trade channels.
Implement sales promotions, in-store activations, and merchandising plans.
Merchandising & Market Execution:
Ensure proper product placement, display compliance, and promotional execution in stores.
Coordinate with merchandising teams to maintain shelf standards and visibility.
Monitor competitors’ activities and suggest counter-strategies.
Reporting & Analysis:
Track sales performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Analyze customer feedback and market demand to optimize sales strategies.
Cross-functional Coordination:
Align with distributors and third-party logistics providers for efficient product distribution.
Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional activities and trade marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
2-5 years in FMCG sales, preferably in modern trade.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with the Riyadh retail market and key modern trade players.
Proficiency in English and Arabic is an advantage.
