Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Motor Underwriting Manager to lead motor underwriting operations, manage portfolio profitability, and ensure effective risk assessment and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in motor insurance underwriting, portfolio management, and stakeholder management, with solid knowledge of the Saudi insurance market and IA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead motor underwriting strategy, governance, and risk assessment
- Manage portfolio profitability, pricing adequacy, and underwriting performance
- Review and approve complex and high-value motor risks
- Ensure compliance with Saudi insurance regulations and underwriting standards
- Support brokers, corporate/fleet clients, and distribution channels
- Drive process improvements and digital underwriting initiatives
- Lead, coach, and develop the underwriting team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 7–10 years of experience in motor insurance underwriting
- 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory underwriting role
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi insurance market and IA regulations
- Professional certifications such as ACII or CPCU are preferred
