Job Title: Lead of Motor Insurance
Department: Human Capital
Role Purpose: The Lead of Motor Insurance is responsible for executing and supporting the organization’s motor insurance programs. This role focuses on day-to-day management, ensuring compliance, and optimizing insurance coverage while collaborating with the Head of Motor Insurance to align with broader strategies.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage motor insurance programs, including fleet and employee vehicle coverage.
- Ensure daily operations align with organizational standards and policies.
- Monitor program effectiveness and provide feedback for improvements.
- Stay updated on local regulations and industry standards related to motor insurance.
- Assist in identifying risks associated with motor insurance programs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and prepare for audits.
- Support the management of relationships with insurance carriers and brokers.
- Assist in negotiations for motor insurance contracts under the guidance of senior management.
- Oversee the claims process to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
- Assist in managing the motor insurance budget and monitoring expenditure.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in motor insurance management or related fields.
- Understanding of motor insurance products and policies.
- Relevant insurance certifications (e.g., CEBS, GBA) are a plus.
- Experience working with vendors and managing relationships.
