Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mobile Application Developer role based in Jeddah. The Mobile Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain mobile applications that support Zagzoog’s customers, distributors, and internal teams. Daily tasks include implementing new features, fixing bugs, optimizing performance, and ensuring a seamless user experience on iOS and other mobile platforms. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, integrating APIs and services, and participating in code reviews. The developer will also contribute to app releases, documentation, and ongoing improvements aligned with customer service and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Mobile Application Development, with practical experience building and maintaining Mobile Applications.
- Candidates should possess solid Application Development abilities, including familiarity with full software development lifecycle practices.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and apply OOP principles to mobile software design and architecture.
- Candidates should possess hands-on iOS Development experience, including working with Swift or Objective-C and common iOS frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services.
- Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices and familiarity with design patterns such as MVC or MVVM.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code, use version control systems (e.g., Git), and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and commitment to application quality and performance.
- Professional proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Previous experience in retail, e-commerce, or service-oriented applications is beneficial.

Required Experience
2–5 years of mobile development experience (iOS, Android, or cross-platform)
Strong foundation in Android development (Kotlin preferred; Java acceptable)
Building UIs with XML layouts and understanding of traditional Android patterns
Working with LiveData, ViewModel, and lifecycle management
Dependency injection with Hilt or similar frameworks
Flutter experience — at least 1 year working with Dart
Comfortable with multiple state management approaches (Provider, Riverpod, BLoC, etc.)
Building reusable widgets and managing widget lifecycle
Integrating with REST APIs and handling async operations
Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX patterns, responsive design, and platform conventions
Nice to Have
Experience with Jetpack Compose — modern Android declarative UI framework
Hands-on with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, FCM, Remote Config, Crashlytics)
Background work experience: WorkManager, Services, or Foreground Services
Experience with WebSockets or real-time data synchronization
Published apps on Google Play or Apple App Store
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Fastlane) and mobile app release workflows
Experience with performance profiling (Android Profiler, DevTools) and optimization
Familiarity with design patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVI) in production codebases
Contributions to open-source mobile projects or personal portfolio apps
Pay: ﷼2,452.95 – ﷼15,000.00 per month
