About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Viva Engage Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the design, implementation, adoption, and optimization of Microsoft Viva Engage solutions. The successful candidate will provide strategic guidance, drive community engagement initiatives, support migration projects, and help maximize the value of the Microsoft Viva platform across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary SME for Microsoft Viva Engage, providing technical and functional expertise
- Design, implement, and manage Viva Engage communities, campaigns, and engagement strategies
- Lead user adoption, change management, and communication initiatives to increase platform usage and business value
- Support and deliver Viva Engage migration and transformation projects
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and define engagement solutions
- Provide governance, best-practice recommendations, and operational guidance for Viva Engage deployments
- Work closely with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 teams to ensure seamless integration with Viva solutions
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities for users and administrators
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Viva Engage implementation, administration, and support
- Strong expertise in community management, employee engagement, communications, and user adoption programs
- Experience planning and executing Viva Engage migration projects
- Good working knowledge of SharePoint and its integration with Microsoft Viva solutions
- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels and provide strategic recommendations
- Strong communication, facilitation, and consulting skills
- Experience within Microsoft 365 collaboration and employee experience platforms is highly desirable
