About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Developer to join our growing IT team. This role requires deep technical expertise in D365 F&O development, strong hands-on experience in X++ programming, and the ability to design and deliver scalable, high-performance enterprise solutions.
You will play a key role in customizing and extending Dynamics 365 F&O, integrating external systems, and ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our ERP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and customize solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O using X++
- Develop and extend standard functionalities including forms, reports (SSRS), and data entities
- Lead system integrations with external applications using REST APIs, web services, and middleware
- Handle data migration and management using Data Entities and Data Management Framework (DMF)
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system issues and performance bottlenecks
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices
- Collaborate closely with functional consultants, QA teams, and business stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards across the team
- Support deployments, UAT cycles, and production environment activities
- Prepare and maintain technical design documents and solution documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / AX development
- Strong proficiency in X++, Visual Studio, and D365 development tools
- Hands-on experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
- Solid understanding of D365 F&O architecture and core modules
- Experience with SSRS reporting and Data Entities
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design principles
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Knowledge of Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Budgeting)
- Experience integrating with third-party systems (banks, POS, external APIs)
- Understanding of security framework (roles, duties, privileges, XDS)
- Experience in performance tuning and batch processing optimization
