Role Overview: We are looking for a highly experienced Metallurgy professional to lead and manage thermo-mechanical processes, ensuring product quality, performance, and operational excellence in a large-scale manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage metallurgical aspects of thermo-mechanical production processes
- Handle technical queries (TQ) and feasibility analysis across departments
- Define process capabilities and metallurgical limitations
- Lead process setup and optimization for thermo-mechanical transformations
- Oversee qualification of new/modified processes, materials, and suppliers
- Develop and implement failure analysis protocols
- Monitor process performance and drive continuous improvement
- Provide technical support to manufacturing teams
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulations
Requirements:
- Degree in Metallurgy / Materials Engineering or related field
- Strong experience in steel / pipe manufacturing (Oil & Gas preferred)
- Expertise in thermo-mechanical processes & heat treatment
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
