Merchandiser in El-Ain, UAE Job Description – Merchandiser
We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Merchandiser. This position is based in El-Ain and offers a competitive salary of 1600.
The role of the Merchandiser is to manage the product range in-store, ensuring maximum visibility of our products and an enticing shopping experience for customers. The main responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining the product range, by researching trends, negotiating pricing with suppliers, and creating displays;
- Building relationships with key stakeholders such as suppliers, store managers and other staff members;
- Staying up to date with industry trends, competitor activities and promotions;
- Track sales performance metrics such as inventory turns, markdowns and gross margin;
- Check stock levels on a regular basis and take appropriate action when needed;
- Ensure that all store displays are kept neat and tidy.
The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of retail or merchandising operations. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as we are willing to consider applications from candidates who are new to the industry. Solid communication skills are also required in order to effectively collaborate with internal teams. A degree in business or marketing is desired but not mandatory.
Fluency in English is essential for this role, however we also welcome applications from foreigners who can demonstrate proficiency in English.
