MEP Technician
Role Overview
Responsible for executing preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance across Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. Ensures compliance with FM standards, safety protocols, and client SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance — Perform scheduled PPM for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Corrective Maintenance — Diagnose faults in AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, DB panels, lighting circuits, and plumbing fixtures.
- HVAC Servicing — Basic refrigeration cycle knowledge, gas charging, filter cleaning, thermostat checks.
- Electrical Repairs — Replace breakers, repair wiring, troubleshoot tripping issues, inspect DB panels.
- Plumbing & Drainage — Fix leaks, blockages, water heater issues, drainage line clearing.
- Facility Inspections — Conduct daily walk‑throughs, identify faults, and ensure compliance with FM standards.
- Safety Compliance — Follow LOTO, PPE usage, and FM safety protocols.
- Client Interaction — Attend complaints, provide updates, ensure timely closure.
- Documentation — Maintain job cards, PPM checklists, daily activity logs, and CAFM entries.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems in FM environments.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings.
- Familiarity with CAFM systems (advantage).
- Basic English communication skills.
- UAE driving license required
