MEP Technician Jobs in Dubai at Abbasi Group
Responsibility
Lead and manage the execution of multiple civil construction projects within the assigned area.
Oversee project planning, design, procurement, construction, and delivery phases.
Ensure projects are completed within budget, on time, and to the specified quality standards.
Monitor progress and resolve any issues related to construction schedules, materials, or manpower.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality requirements.
Supervise and support project managers, engineers, and other staff members working on construction projects.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other external partners to ensure project objectives are met.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration between teams, stakeholders, and clients.
Manage project budgets and oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement processes.
Identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions to keep projects within budget.
Review and approve project expenses and payments to vendors and subcontractors.
Ensure all civil construction activities are carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Promote a safety-first culture across all construction sites and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Monitor and report on environmental impacts and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management and clients.
Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on schedules, costs, and quality.
Address and resolve any issues or disputes that arise during the course of the project.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
A minimum of 17 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Proven experience in managing large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
