MEP Supervisor Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE at Salt
To supervise the Maintenance team on the daily operation. Ensure planned Maintenance Tasks are carried out as per the annual plan and schedules. Verify the documentation and reports submitted by the team.
Key Accountabilities:
Monitor and examine all technical works and site management.
Manage workers’ daily performance and solve the problems at site.
Assist project manager and/or site manager in implementing projects.
Manage materials and workforce in daily operation.
Check works in compliance with drawings and meet standards.
Coordinate and supervise construction work at the site.
Check & revise/detail/shop drawings for all technical work.
Responsible for monthly progress reports and progress evaluation claims.
Monitor daily the contractor/sub-contractor’s work.
Ensure work quality of construction and adherence to project timelines.
Advise, coordinate, and review concept, schematic, and detail designs related to Architectural, Structural & Civil, Mechanical and Electrical, and Interior Design.
Coordinate, review, and integrate all detail design drawings for construction.
Clarify queries regarding drawing details and issue additional drawings or details where necessary to explain the design.
Evaluate and recommend material substitutions.
Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum Years of
Experience:
• 5 Years in a Similar Role.
Skills and
Competencies:
Goodcommunicationin English.
Must have strong Mechanical Engineering skills in the area of Electrical and Plumbing.
Witnessing of all MEP system testing and performance of all systems and installations.
Responsible for oversight of commissioning agent, center of plan design, plan review, plan check.
Requires an ability to work on projects from concept stage through construction and project closeout.
