Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven MEP Project Manager to lead and oversee MEP projects across the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project execution from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within budget, schedule, quality standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and supervise all MEP project activities to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead project teams comprising engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site personnel.
- Monitor project progress, costs, resources, and schedules to achieve project objectives.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government authorities.
- Review contract documents, project specifications, drawings, and technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards, HSE regulations, and UAE authority requirements.
- Manage procurement planning, material approvals, and subcontractor performance.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present project progress reports, cost reports, and management updates.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, handover, and project close-out activities.
- Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and timely project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in MEP contracting, with at least 5 years in a Project Manager role within the UAE.
- Proven experience managing large-scale residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, or mixed-use developments.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, ELV, and building services systems.
- Excellent understanding of project management principles, contract administration, budgeting, and cost control.
- Familiarity with UAE construction regulations, authority approvals, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP certification is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Arabic is preferred and will be considered an added advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license mandatory.
