Job Title: MEP Manager – Roads & Bridges
Location: Abu Dhabi
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for large-scale Roads & Bridges infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing MEP design coordination, execution, installation, and commissioning while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all MEP activities across Roads & Bridges projects from design to handover
- Coordinate with civil, structural, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless project integration
- Review and approve MEP designs, shop drawings, and technical submittals
- Monitor site execution to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project schedules
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for MEP works
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, standards, and project specifications
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for MEP-related challenges
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover processes
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Optimize cost control and ensure efficient resource utilization
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in MEP works within Roads & Bridges / Infrastructure projects
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects in the UAE/GCC
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems related to tunnels, street lighting, pumping stations, drainage, and utilities
- Familiarity with international standards and local authority regulations (e.g., ADWEA, DEWA, etc.)
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- PMP or equivalent certification is an added advantage
