We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager with proven High-Rise Building Project experience to lead and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities across complex construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and delivering MEP works from design review and procurement through installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to ensure all MEP systems are delivered in compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, quality standards, budget requirements, and project schedules.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience managing MEP works on high-rise residential, commercial, mixed-use, or hospitality developments. Experience in coordinating MEP services within multi-story tower projects, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all MEP activities across project sites.
- Review MEP designs, shop drawings, technical submittals, and material specifications.
- Ensure MEP systems are integrated effectively with architectural, structural, and civil works.
- Manage MEP contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify installation quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, building codes, health & safety standards, and project requirements.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Lead coordination meetings and resolve technical issues and clashes.
- Prepare progress reports, project updates, and performance metrics for senior management.
- Support procurement activities related to MEP equipment and materials.
- Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum [8–10] years of experience in MEP construction and project management.
- Proven experience managing large-scale residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical distribution, lighting, and ELV systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, BIM coordination tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of project planning, cost control, quality management, and commissioning processes.
- Knowledge of local building regulations and international engineering standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration or relevant engineering certification.
- Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection processes.
- Experience working on high-rise, mixed-use, healthcare, hospitality, or infrastructure projects.
