Role Description This is a full-time, on-site MEP Maintenance Engineer role located in Abu Dhabi. The MEP Maintenance Engineer will oversee day-to-day maintenance activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across residential and commercial buildings. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving faults, coordinating and performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring timely repairs for equipment and building services. The role involves inspecting and testing systems, maintaining maintenance records, supporting facility operations, and collaborating with technicians, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure reliability and safety of installed systems. The engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance procedures, adherence to local regulations, and optimization of energy and resource usage.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for MEP systems and building services.
- Candidates should possess solid Maintenance Engineering and Preventive Maintenance skills to plan, schedule, and optimize system performance.
- Candidates should possess practical Electrical Maintenance skills for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical installations and related safety systems.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience in building services, facilities management, or technical contracting within residential and commercial environments.
- Knowledge of UAE standards, safety regulations, and applicable codes related to MEP and building maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site and within multidisciplinary teams.
