MEP Estimator (Electrical) Jobs in Doha at Inspire Management Training Center
We are seeking a skilled MEP Estimator with a strong electrical background. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across various construction and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents for MEP works, with a focus on electrical systems.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and material take-offs.
- Analyze project scope to identify risks, gaps, and value engineering opportunities.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams.
- Support bid submissions, budgeting, and cost control activities.
- Maintain and update estimation databases and cost benchmarks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in MEP estimation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and materials.
- Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel.
