On behalf of our client, we are seeking to hire a MEP Estimator to join their team in Riyadh.
Job Summary
Responsible for accurately estimating project costs, analyzing blueprints and specifications, and preparing competitive bids and proposals. This role is essential in driving cost‑effective project planning and successful project acquisition within the construction sector.
Responsibilities
- Estimate the cost of construction projects by analyzing and interpreting project blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Calculate and estimate labor hourly rates, material costs, and other project expenses to determine overall project costs.
- Evaluate and estimate waste generated from materials to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Tendering Manager and other team members to prepare comprehensive and competitive project bids and proposals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and industry standards to provide accurate project estimates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience as a Project Estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of bidding and tendering processes.
- Background in contracting with a solid understanding of construction methodologies and practices.
- Proficiency in estimating labor hourly rates and material costs.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in estimating project costs.
