We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated MEP Engineer to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works on construction projects.
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Monitor project progress and ensure MEP works are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with approved drawings and UAE standards.
- Prepare material submittals, method statements, RFIs, inspection requests, and progress reports.
- Resolve technical issues related to MEP installations.
- Coordinate procurement of MEP materials and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and handing over completed MEP systems.
- Maintain proper project documentation and records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of UAE experience as an MEP Engineer in construction projects.
- Experience in fit-out, civil, commercial, residential, and industrial projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, ELV, and other MEP systems.
- Familiarity with UAE construction regulations, standards, and authority requirements.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid UAE Driving License is an advantage.
