MEP Electrical Draftsman Jobs in Dubai at Object 1 Real Estate

Due to fast growth and launching new projects, we are looking for MEP Electrical Draftsman to join our team in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Develop layouts for:
- Lighting systems
- Power distribution
- Small power systems
- Cable trays and trunking
- Earthing and lightning protection systems
- Fire alarm systems
- ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Public Address, etc.)
- Coordinate electrical drawings with architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing, and other MEP disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority standards including DEWA, ADDC/AADC, SEWA, FEWA, Civil Defense, and project specifications.
- Review consultant drawings and identify discrepancies before preparation of shop drawings.
- Prepare material quantity take-offs from approved drawings.
- Assist project engineers in preparing technical submittals and method statements.
- Revise drawings based on consultant comments and site requirements.
- Maintain drawing registers and ensure document control procedures are followed.
- Conduct site visits when required to verify dimensions and prepare as-built documentation.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company quality standards and project schedules.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
- Minimum 5–7 years of UAE/GCC experience in MEP contracting.
- Experience working on high-rise buildings, commercial, residential, hospitality, or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes and authority regulations.
