MEP Draftsman Jobs in Musay‘īd, Qatar at Swan Global
Create accurate and detailed MEP engineering drawings (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) for various oil and gas projects.
Work with engineers to prepare and modify designs in line with technical specifications and requirements.
Develop layouts, schematics, diagrams, and detailed drawings for MEP systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Preparation of Engineering Drawings:
Prepare mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system drawings and diagrams for all stages of the project (conceptual design, detailed design, and as-built drawings).
Ensure all drawings are accurate, complete, and conform to the relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, structural engineers) to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems within the overall project.
Coordinate with project managers and other team members to gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure project timelines are met.
Revisions & Modifications:
Update and modify drawings as necessary based on feedback from engineers and project teams.
Ensure that all revisions are properly documented and archived.
Quality Assurance:
Maintain high standards of quality in all drafting activities, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and project requirements.
Review and verify engineering drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
Site Support:
Assist in site surveys, ensuring that designs align with actual site conditions.
Support field teams with technical documentation and drawings as required.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience in Oil & Gas Sector with design and preparation of details engineering drawings.
