Job Summary:
As an Insurance Estimator in our workshop, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the repair process for vehicles involved in accidents. Your responsibilities will include opening job cards, assessing damage to vehicles, preparing accurate repair estimates, and managing communication with insurance companies to ensure timely approvals and settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
Open and manage job cards for vehicles entering the workshop for repairs.
Record detailed information about the customer, vehicle, and the nature of the damage.
Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of repairs required.
Prepare accurate and comprehensive repair estimates, including labor, parts, and other associated costs.
Communicate effectively with vehicle owners to explain the repair process and provide estimates.
Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding the repair and estimation process.
Coordinate with insurance companies to initiate and follow up on claims.
Submit detailed repair estimates and documentation to insurance adjusters for approval.
Negotiate with insurance adjusters to secure fair and timely approval for repair estimates.
Work closely with insurers to address any additional information or documentation needed for claim processing.
Ensure prompt and regular follow-up with insurance companies to expedite the approval process.
Communicate any delays or challenges in the repair process to all relevant parties.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all job cards, estimates, and communication with insurance companies.
Generate reports detailing the status of each repair job and insurance claim.
Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure that repairs are conducted to high-quality standards.
Verify that completed repairs align with the initial estimates and customer expectations.
Strive to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by providing transparent and professional communication throughout the repair process.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in automotive technology, business, or a related field.
Proven experience as an insurance estimator in an automotive workshop, preferably in the UAE market.
Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, parts, and labor costs.
Familiarity with UAE insurance regulations and procedures.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating repair costs.
Ability to use relevant software and tools for estimation and documentation.
Customer-centric mindset with a focus on providing exceptional service.
