MEP Design Engineer – Sharjah (On-site)

About This Role
Join our MEP team to design integrated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for diverse building types. You will work on challenging projects that push the boundaries of sustainable building design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial and residential projects.
- Prepare load calculations, equipment selections, and specifications.
- Create detailed MEP drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Coordinate with architectural and structural teams.
- Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction.
- Review shop drawings and contractor submittals.
- Ensure designs meet DEWA, SEWA, and FEWA requirements.
Requirements Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 4‑7 years of MEP design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and/or Revit MEP.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and UAE codes.
- Experience with load calculation software (HAP, Trace 700).
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with green building certifications (LEED, Estidama).
- Knowledge of fire protection systems.
- Familiarity with BIM 360 and Navisworks.
- District cooling system experience.
