About Us
THE WINGS ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS is a leading engineering consultancy based in Dubai, specializing in architectural, structural, MEP, and interior design, along with authority approvals across the UAE. We are looking for a skilled and motivated MEP Design Engineer to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop MEP design drawings and calculations for residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use projects.
- Design HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and electrical systems in compliance with UAE codes and authority regulations.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Prepare design reports, technical specifications, BOQs, and load calculations.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions.
- Liaise with authorities such as Dubai Municipality, DDA, DEWA, Civil Defense, and other relevant agencies for approvals.
- Attend coordination meetings with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure designs comply with international standards and local authority requirements.
- Support the project team throughout the design and approval stages.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering .
- Minimum 5 years of MEP design experience .
- Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and authority requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
