Job Summary
Vision Catalyst Construction LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented MEP Assistant to support the MEP department in the execution and coordination of building construction projects. Only candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the MEP Engineer in planning, coordinating, and supervising electrical works on construction projects.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor site progress and ensure electrical works are carried out according to approved drawings and project specifications.
- Prepare material requests, technical submittals, shop drawings, and inspection requests.
- Assist in quantity take-offs, material planning, and procurement coordination.
- Conduct site inspections and report any quality or safety issues.
- Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and records.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, project specifications, and safety standards.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical support as required.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Senior MEP Engineer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory).
- Only Electrical Engineering graduates are eligible to apply.
- Minimum 2–5 years of UAE experience in MEP or electrical works within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, ELV, and related MEP services.
- Familiarity with DEWA and UAE electrical standards is an advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other engineering software.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Valid UAE Driving Licence is preferred.
