The Medical Representative is responsible for maximizing the sales of Viatris products through the different sales and promotion activities within a certain geographic territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit physicians to help them manage patients’ disease using Viatris products.
  • Disseminate knowledge through product samples, scientific literature, and clinical trials to aid physicians and other healthcare professionals in making optimal decisions.
  • Follow up with healthcare practitioners, key opinion leaders, physicians, pharmacists, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and answer questions about Viatris products.
  • Provide HCPs with information on proper medical usage, dosage amounts, and side effects of Viatris products.
  • Feedback to management on customer requests, responses to promotions, and product access, and update on changes in the healthcare system or hospital structure.
  • Contribute to marketing campaign preparation by providing feedback on real market customer needs.
  • Follow up on stock consumption and ordering processes.
  • Organize AV activities in the assigned area.
  • Report periodically on HCP visits and other activities, and prepare short‑term action plans for the area and products.
  • Update the customer list based on targeting processes, understanding customer segmentation and insights.
  • Understand customer disease‑management needs and create new advocates aligned with customer priorities.
  • Compile monthly sales activity reports, market feedback, threats, and opportunities.
  • Participate in setting the engagement action plan and play an important role in its execution.
  • Engage customers through partnership programs.
  • Explore additional business opportunities and expand the scope of reach.
  • Work under the general direction of the Sales Manager; remain fully responsible for the business and financial results of the geographic territory, including budget achievement and market parameters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
  • Saudi national.
  • Up to 3 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical companies.
