Medical Practitioner-Hematology & Oncology
The Medical Practitioner operates under the supervision of the Consultant Physician and/or Specialist Physician, sharing responsibility for delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
Experience
Required:
For Non-UAE Nationals:
Minimum 2 years relevant experience post-internship (Hospital, P.H.C, ER, etc.).
For UAE Nationals and Non-UAE graduates of UAE medical schools:
No additional experience required after successful internship.
Special
Note:
Non-UAE Nationals accepted into HAAD accredited residency programs through TANSEEQ will not require additional experience after internship.
Educational Qualifications
Required:
Graduate from a Medical school listed in the Avicenna Directory or IMED of FAIMER.
Successful completion of internship (per HAAD criteria) and evidence of national registration/license.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee investigation results and modify treatment with approval.
Assist senior physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
Participate in ward rounds and patient reassessment.
Organize tests and record results.
Liaise with other medical specialties and support services.
Support interns as directed.
Manage referrals from various sources.
Contribute to diagnosis and treatment following best practices.
Communicate with patients and families.
Participate in performance management, committees, and administrative duties.
Maintain good team relationships and promote collaboration.
Comply with hospital policies on patient care and documentation.
Support quality improvement and participate in clinical audits.
Engage in medical education, research, and stay updated with latest trends.
Provide out-of-hours on-call coverage.
The clinical duties include communication, adherence to policies, documentation, supporting procedures, and ensuring high standards of care.
