Job Description
Install and perform diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.
Develop and implement mechanical maintenance plans to prevent equipment breakdowns.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns.
Document processes and maintain mechanical service records.
Optimize mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
Maintain a tidy work environment and adhere to industry regulations.
Regularly check equipment and operating systems.
Ensure machinery operates at optimal performance.
Perform troubleshooting and tests on equipment or machinery.
Carry out repairs as needed.
Install preventative measures to avoid malfunctions.
Handle tools such as power tools and rigging equipment.
Perform hot work, including welding and cutting.
Resolve issues related to motors, conveyors, and hydraulic equipment.
Operate equipment like forklifts.
Maintain workshop, warehouse, and tools area.
Assist project engineers as required.
Comply with company safety guidelines.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma; a one- or two-year college program or diploma in mechanical engineering is preferred.
Professional certification in mechanical systems and emergency first aid is desirable.
