Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our perfume manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing mechanical equipment used in perfume production and packaging. This role requires hands-on experience with industrial machinery, troubleshooting mechanical faults, and ensuring efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment, including mixers, filling machines, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operations and reduce downtime.
Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend effective solutions.
Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Work closely with the production and maintenance teams to enhance equipment performance.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory.
Identify and implement mechanical improvements to optimize efficiency.
Requirements:
Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
2+ years of experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in a perfume, cosmetics, or FMCG manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and industrial machinery.
Experience with troubleshooting and repairing pumps, valves, motors, and gear systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in perfume, cosmetics, or FMCG manufacturing.
Knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems, and fire safety mechanisms.
