Mechanical Supervisor Jobs in Doha at HEMC
We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Mechanical Supervisor to lead our on-site labor force and ensure the flawless execution of mechanical installations. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in MEP services, an ability to read complex drawings, and the leadership skills necessary to keep site work moving safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
On-Site Supervision: Direct and supervise day-to-day installation activities for Chilled Water Piping, Firefighting Piping, HVAC systems, Plumbing, and Drainage works.
Labor & Team Management: Lead, organize, and motivate site technicians, pipefitters, welders, and laborers to meet daily productivity targets.
Drawing & Spec Compliance: Read and interpret approved shop drawings and schematic diagrams, ensuring the installation work strictly matches the technical plans.
Material & Tool Tracking: Monitor material availability on site, inspect delivered materials, and raise requests for tools and consumables to prevent downtime.
Civil Team Coordination: Work closely with the civil supervision team to ensure structural openings, foundations, and clearances are ready for mechanical installations.
Safety Enforcement: Enforce strict adherence to site HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and quality control standards.
What We Are Looking For
Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent
Experience: Minimum 10 years of solid experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on construction sites.
Technical Knowledge: Strong practical understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water networks, firefighting systems, and plumbing/drainage installation techniques.
Skills: Excellent supervisory skills, strong communication, and the ability to troubleshoot installation issues on the spot.
