Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer for an immediate Oil & Gas project requirement in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical site execution activities, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and standards.
Candidates with strong Oil & Gas construction experience and immediate availability are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 4–6 years of Oil & Gas experience
- GCC experience is mandatory
- Strong background in mechanical site execution and construction activities
- Experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
- Ability to coordinate with Construction, QA/QC, HSE, and Client teams
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, specifications, and site procedures
- Experience in Industrial, Petrochemical, LNG, Refinery, or Oil & Gas projects
- Strong communication and site coordination skills
- Must be currently available in Qatar
- Immediate mobilization preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical construction activities on site
- Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Work closely with HSE personnel to maintain a safe working environment
- Review work progress and prepare site reports
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve technical issues
- Ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in LNG, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Industrial projects
- Experience working in Ras Laffan Industrial City projects
- Knowledge of international mechanical construction standards and procedures
Additional Conditions
- Preference will be given to candidates currently available in Qatar
- Immediate joiners will be prioritized
- Contract duration: 6 months (extendable)
