We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Site Engineer with 12+ years of experience in the construction industry, including hands-on experience in high-rise building projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all mechanical works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor mechanical installation works, including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Drainage systems.
- Ensure all mechanical activities are executed according to approved shop drawings, project specifications, and local codes.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, architects, structural, and MEP teams to resolve technical issues.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and method statements before execution.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Ensure materials, manpower, and equipment are available to meet project schedules.
- Enforce HSE requirements and company safety policies on-site.
- Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and project management teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 12+ years of experience in MEP construction.
- Mandatory experience on high-rise building projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with testing & commissioning activities.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Revit and Primavera P6 is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Saudi Arabia/GCC experience is preferred.
- Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is preferred.
