Mechanical Quantity Surveyor (QS)
Experience: 5–8 Years Location: Qatar / GCC
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor within construction, MEP, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience working on large-scale building, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, measurement, valuation, cost estimation, and cost control.
- Hands-on experience in variation claims, interim payment applications, monthly valuations, and final account preparation.
- Experience in subcontractor measurement, payment certification, reconciliation, and commercial management.
- Good understanding of contracts, commercial terms, scope changes, and contract administration.
- Experience in project close-out, final measurements, claims settlement, and preparation of project final accounts.
- Ability to review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contractual documents and identify quantity/commercial discrepancies.
- Strong skills in Excel and QS/commercial reporting tools.
- Good communication, negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants, Clients, Procurement teams, and subcontractors.
- GCC experience is preferred, particularly experience with major construction or infrastructure projects.
- Candidates with experience in Qatar/KSA/UAE projects and local contract practices will have an added advantage.
Pay: QAR10,000.00 – QAR12,000.00 per month
