Mechanical Project Engineer Jobs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at GI International
One of the leading Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) specialist construction companies in the region, with vast experience in turn‑key projects, is looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate engineering and execution of all mechanically functioning equipment/works in projects as per design specifications, engineering standards, and at minimum cost, in accordance with QA/QC and company procedures.
- Collect and disseminate pertinent project information.
- Review and resolve technical specifications.
- Schedule and monitor program activity to achieve on‑time results, including follow‑up with external suppliers.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Quality departments to present quotations in a timely, professional, and thorough manner.
- Ensure that installation is carried out productively in line with QA and HSE procedures.
- Perform work involving conventional methods and types of plans, investigations, surveys, structure or equipment with relatively few complex features.
- Maintain the necessary competence level to achieve project targets.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Planning and Quality departments.
- Assist in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, and design documents for projects.
- Maintain records of project progress in line with project reporting requirements and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the MEP Building Services industry with advanced knowledge, usually acquired through a combination of experience and continuing education.
- Strong AutoCAD experience highly desirable.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the Mechanical Building Services industry.
