Job Summary

NSH Saudi is seeking an experienced Mechanical Manager to lead and oversee all mechanical activities for major Oil & Gas projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project execution, ensuring compliance with client specifications and international standards, while delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all mechanical construction, installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities.
  • Lead multidisciplinary mechanical teams, including engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor mechanical works to ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, QA/QC, HSE, and client representatives to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and work procedures before execution.
  • Ensure all mechanical works comply with project specifications, international codes, and client requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, productivity, manpower, equipment utilization, and resource allocation.
  • Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Support project planning, budgeting, cost control, and forecasting activities.
  • Participate in project review meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies and promote a strong safety culture across all project activities.
  • Review and approve work packs, material requisitions, technical queries, and project documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve technical and execution-related issues.
  • Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, mechanical completion, and project handover activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Construction, Maintenance, or Shutdown projects.
  • At least 5 years in a managerial role leading large mechanical teams.
  • Experience on Saudi Aramco or other major Oil & Gas projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, steel structures, tanks, pressure vessels, and mechanical installation practices.
  • Familiarity with ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI, and other relevant international standards.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
