Mechanical Inspector Jobs in Dubai at Pioneers of Experts Engineering Consultants
We are looking for an Mechanical Site Inspector to review and approve contractor submittals, resolve technical issues arising and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Technical Competencies
Essential
- Degree qualified – as a minimum.
- Minimum of 10 years experience of Mechanical Engineering in Dubai, UAE and 5 yrs in consultancy.
- Must have integrity, be flexible and proactive.
- Must demonstrate ability to act independently as part of a team.
Behavioural Competencies
Essential
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Good team player, able to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Carry out inspection of works in progress.
- Ensure contractor compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings.
- Assist Site Mechanical Engineer with review of shop drawing and material submittals.
- Monitor and report contractor progress and all activities.
