Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Mechanical Garage Foreman to oversee the daily operations of our automotive garage. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of the garage, including labor allocation, mechanical work, painting, and denting. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the workshop, high-quality repairs, and overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Garage Operations: Oversee and manage all mechanical, painting, and denting work in the garage.
Labor Management: Assign tasks to workers, supervise their performance, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Technical Expertise: Provide hands-on support in mechanical repair, diagnosis, and maintenance tasks when necessary.
Work Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets industry standards and is completed in a timely manner.
Customer Service: Cooperate with customers to provide updates on work progress and address any issues or concerns.
Inventory Management: Monitor parts and supplies inventory, ordering new stock as required.
Health & Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Reporting: Prepare reports on job progress, work schedules, and any issues that arise.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a mechanical workshop or similar environment within UAE or any GULf country, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or forman role.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive repair processes, including mechanical, denting, and painting work.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage teams and oversee operations.
Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Arabic speaking plus point.
Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
