Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Foreman with a minimum of three years of experience in marine workshop and ship repairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of mechanical and hydraulic fitters, overseeing project progress, and preparing daily reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of mechanical fitters in the marine workshop.
- Oversee and coordinate ship repair projects, ensuring timely and quality completion.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on the status of ongoing projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. (preferable)
- Minimum of three years of experience in marine workshop and ship repairs.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of mechanical/hydraulic fitters.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed project reports.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a marine workshop environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,500.00 – AED4,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
