Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Engineer
– Design and develop mechanical systems and components such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and pipelines for use in oil and gas extraction and processing.
– Perform detailed mechanical analysis and simulations to optimize design and functionality.
– Collaborate with project teams to integrate new mechanical systems into existing operations and ensure seamless implementation.
– Conduct stress tests, dynamic analyses, and other evaluations on mechanical devices to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
– Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
– Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design files, specifications, and operational manuals.
– Monitor and report on the performance of mechanical systems, recommending improvements and troubleshooting issues as needed.
– Stay updated with advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and methods that can be applied to enhance asset integration and performance.
– Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance teams, ensuring best practices in mechanical integrity and reliability.
– Participate in safety audits and risk assessments to ensure that all mechanical operations comply with environmental and safety regulations.
